The Muskegon Area Promise is a commitment to the young people of the Muskegon community – that if they work hard they will be able to earn at least a two-year college degree tuition-free. Fruitport Community, Calvary Christian, and West Michigan Christian Schools are all within minutes of the new homes at Odeno, and are all eligible for the Muskegon Promise scholarship program. Scholarships will fund either a certificate program, a two-year Associate’s Degree or the first two years of a Bachelor’s Degree at Muskegon Community College or Baker College of Muskegon (including tuition, books, and mandatory fees). Many other school systems are also eligible for the Muskegon Promise; click here to find out more.
